We are currently working towards achieving ISO 9001and ISO 14001 accreditation, this will enable us to deliver a more cost effective and efficient service which will be reflected in our service performance.
Through a regime of daily monitoring, periodic client liaison and feedback our Contracts team ensure that the highest standards of service provision are maintained. Where concerns are raised over service provision they are investigated fully and reported upon to the Client officer responsible for contracts. During the normal course of events a monthly report is produced detailing all aspects of the service provision including punctuality of arrival both at the pick up and delivery points.
Training and development
All staff involved in the delivery of services specified within this contract will be engaged in an ongoing programme of training. Such training will incorporate the Passenger Assistant Training Scheme (PATS) as well as NVQ training covering areas such as Customer Service, Customer Liaison and Health and Safety.
We are currently in the process of appointing an in house Passenger Assistant Trainer who will be responsible for identifying training needs and where necessary ensuring that those needs are met through a combination of internal and external training, monitoring and assessment.
Where a need has been identified Escorts, drivers and some operations staff, will hold a current first aid at work certificate. These individuals will be appropriately trained in resuscitation techniques and the use of defibrillation equipment. Where a need has been identified staff will be trained in manual handling and pacification/restraint techniques.
Environmental Matters
We are aware of the impact of our carbon footprint and as a result have compiled a Company Environmental Policy. This document and the requirement therein will be fully implemented by August 2008.
Some 70% of our vehicles already comply with Euro 3, those that do not will be replaced before the August 2008 deadline in accordance with the Company Environmental Policy.
Any vehicle currently operating that does not comply with the standards laid out within this policy and associated legislation will not be considered for use as part of any contracted services.
